Corn Seeds, Oaxacan Green Corn heirloom
Corn Seeds, Oaxacan Green Corn heirloom
Oaxacan Green corn comes to us from the Mexican region of Oaxaca--known for it's pottery, artists and culinary expertise. This green corn is an heirloom variety grown for its beauty and culinary uses as corn meal, flavoring, and fresh eating. For centuries local Oaxacans cultivated it to grind into flour to make tortillas. This corn has a spectrum of green-teal-blue hues and most people will marvel at your fall decor if you added a few cobs of green corn to it. Stalks can reach 6-10 ft. Ears 12-16 inches. Also, it's just fun to grow.
