Uses for this Plant

Zinnias produce abundant crops of cut flowers and can also be dried. Zinnias are great companion plants for food crops and attract important pollinators. Zinnias can even help reduce stress and anxiety by getting you out into the garden.

Climate Adaptive Qualities

The Benary Zinnia has high yields of long, sturdy-stemmed Zinnias with 4-6" fully double dahlia-like blooms. Excellent vase life. Holds up well in summer heat and rain and continues to bloom throughout the season if you continue to cut flowers and dead head. Low susceptibility to powdery mildew.

Our seeds are harvested fresh every Fall when we make small batches to sell. We also source fresh seeds for the year from local farmers, seed banks, and non-gmo organically grown suppliers.
