Yellow Brandywine tomatoes are a classic and will not disappoint. If you want a Brandywine tomato that is slightly less acidic than the red (also depends on soil but mostly this is accurate) then try these.
In general, the Brandywine tomato heirloom has been loved for many generations, enough so that people took care in creating different versions and colors of this heirloom strain. When I grow yellow Brandywine I make soups or sauces from it, but it is also an excellent fresh slicer tomato.
Brandywine vines tend to get very tall (up to 9 feet), so trellising and pruning is necessary. It's nice to experiment with different recipes and yellow Brandywines, mostly it is aesthetic, but in some cases it makes a differences such as with seafood dishes where you want a more delicate tasting tomato.
Packets: 10 & 20 seeds.
