Snow on the Mountain Lima Beans are a large and a vigorous pole variety of Lima bean. They are very tasty when dried and when cooked have a sweet, walnut flavor. This heirloom Lima Bean dates back to the 1860s. Slightly curved, sometimes twisted pods grow 4-4.5"" long and contain three to four seeds each.

Care Guide


Sow seeds directly into soil 1" deep when all danger of frost has passed.
Space rows 36-48" apart, but it is easier if you simply plant them along side a fence as the vines grow rapidly and climb.
Trellis if needed.
