Climate Adaptive Qualities

Black Knight pincushion flowers are both a pollinator and beautiful cut flower, very interesting dried pods and can be grown in a container or garden. They are honey-scented and fragrant and resemble a dark-satin pincushion with pink-tipped pins. A perfect gift for the sewers in your life (or really anyone who enjoys heirlooms, fragrant flowers and interesting additions to bouquets). They have a long stem and are easy to grow. The blooms on Scabiosa flowers range from 1 - 2.5 inches.

TIP: Continue to remove spent blooms from Scabiosa plants and you will be rewarded with flowers all summer and into the fall.

Directions: Sow directly into soil once all danger of frost has passed. Cover lightly with dirt and water.

Our seeds are grown, then hand-packed in small batches so everyone can try heirlooms and, honestly, because maybe they are precious packages and gardens are that important.

Our Mission

(✿◠‿◠)

We sell small batches because we think it's important to try a bunch
of different types of plants in your garden, and in your climate,
to see what is beneficial.

Our seeds are harvested fresh every Fall when we make small batches to sell. We also source fresh seeds for the year from local farmers, seed banks, and non-gmo organically grown suppliers.

THAT MEANS:
• Non-GMO
• USA grown
• Open-pollinated
• Untreated (no fungicides, pesticides, herbicides, etc.)
• Tested to meet the highest germination standards
